Dr. Scott G. Wilkins
Scott Wilkins, author of “R.E.A.C.H.” A Team Approach to Evangelism and Assimilation,” is also the founder of REACH Evangelistic Strategies, Inc., established in 2022. He is a seasoned pastor with over 42 years of pastoral experience, including serving churches of over 3000 in membership, as well as, starting new church plants with a beginning nuclease of 6 people or less. Scott is a graduate of Campbellsville University, Campbellsville, Kentucky, (1983, B.S. Psychology/Christian Studies). He has also attained both, the Masters of Divinity (1989, Concentration: Theology/Pastoral Care), and the Doctorate of Ministry (2000, Concentration: Evangelism/Church Growth), degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, located in Fort Worth, Texas. He is married to Patricia Ann (Brooks), has three married children, and five delightful grandchildren. Scott travels extensively throughout the U.S. and oversees, and solely commits his time toward training pastors and churches, both in person and online, in evangelistic strategies through the REACH evangelism team concept.

National averages among Evangelical Churches nation-wide, such as; professions of faith, baptisms, and worship attendance, are all on a ‘rapid decline’ over the last few decades. Why is this happening? I believe that the main reason for this is that the church (as a whole), regardless of which evangelical denomination they follow, are simply not prioritizing the importance, and the ‘the biblical command’ given by Jesus (known as the Great Commission: (Matthew 28:19-20). Do you realize that less than 1% of all evangelical churches even have implemented an on-going strategy/program for their church geared toward actively witnessing to and reaching the lost? Churches MUST recognize these facts and make a change in their priorities before time is gone…
